Tri-County Services
On September 1, 1983, Tri-County Services became the 31st Community MHMR center in Texas, serving Liberty, Walker, and Montgomery Counties. Tri-County began its first year with an executive director, program director, business director, administrative assistant, and eleven staff who had transferred from Rusk State Hospital. Only outpatient mental health counseling and psychiatric services were offered.
