It took 4 months for me to get my photo and staff page up here.  It has been a challenge to sit still long enough to get a photograph that isn't a blur of me up.  Feel free to check out my Flickr and Foursquare profiles to find out where all I've been and what I've seen and done since joining Schipul - The Web Marketing Company.

My official title here is Go Get'Em! which the lovely and creative Katie Laird came up with.  (Thank you, Katie!).  Ed keeps referring to me as fearless (not true) and impatient (totally is true) and the title comes from my "labrador retriever" like personality.  I'm the one who gets to "Go Get 'Em" when a Schipulite needs to find a person or information.  I am adept at finding just about anything or anyone online using search engines and social networking sites.  I also talk to strangers in line at the store and love to meet new people and learn new things.  If I don't know the answer, then I know how to go hunt for it - let me know if I can go get anything for you! 

On a more professional level - I have over 12 years of experience in sales and marketing, primarily in and around the technology industry.  I was using the internet before it was the internet (remember bulletin board servers?) and was making static HTML website for friends in college for fun.  I have spent the last several years focusing on cloud storage and data centers, web applications and technology, and social media and search engine marketing.   My experience encompasses persuasive sales copywriting, technical writing, events and exhibit marketing and promotions, SEO, social media strategy, technology consulting, advanced internet search, lead management, CRM's, proposal writing including GSA schedule and government bids.  

I have a passion for entrepreneurship and supporting those who make all the cool tech-toys that I "play" with on the internet and have worked as a consultant to businesses seeking help to develop and integrate their online marketing strategy with their current business goals and strategy.    

I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX with a degree in Philosophy and Business Management.  I am almost fluent in Spanish from growing up in San Antonio and about 20 hours in college.  

I am a licensed Texas Massage Therapist, distance runner, Space Geek and Science Fiction fan, recovering World of Warcraft addict, and I've invented 5 drinks now.  I'm also TABC certified and will bartend for free for a good cause on weekends.
