If she isn’t elbow-deep in paper-maché mixture, feeding her pet sea monkeys, or updating Facebook photos of the boston terrier, Franklin, in his plethora of puppy costumes – then Erica is probably hard at work making the web a more beautiful and functional place one graphic at a time.

As a graphic designer for the Creative Services team at Schipul, Erica creates a multitude of images on a daily basis – Facebook fanpage graphics, Twitter backgrounds, website templates, call-to-action buttons – you name it!

Erica knew she was destined for the glamorous life of an illustrator and graphic designer at an early age when she discovered her knack for drawing Sailor Moon characters that semi/kinda/not really looked like the actual cartoon. Even to this day, you can see in her artwork that faint glimmer of a Sailor Moon fanatic when you squint your eyes.

Leaving the mean streets of the Sugar Land ‘burbs behind her, Erica migrated to the hipster mecca of Austin for four years to read indie zines, drink herbal teas, and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at St. Edward’s University. Previous work experience includes: newspaper photographer, personal assistant, cable television graphics intern, and etsy entrepreneur.
