Drupal Hosting
We develop Drupal sites on a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), making your site easily portable to that same environment on other servers.
Another option is Windows or WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP). This generally takes a little tweaking of Windows permissions and Apache configuration.
A third, not so desirable, option is Windows, IIS, MySQL, PHP. This adds a little more complexity for several reasons. IIS is replacing Apache as the web service and has permissions and URL rewrites that differ from Apache. So from the original LAMP installation your are adding Windows permissions, IIS permissions, URL rewrite rules and trial and error of configuring the environment but still doable.
These are all options available if needed but this will add time to the project. If you have the technical knowledge on how this is configured you can do it yourself with a copy of the files and database we provide you when the site is finished.
We can configure any of these options for you. An estimation of the time necessary for the configuration is listed below.
