Community and Arts Organizations in Houston and Silicon Valley
We love our clients!
And we love the internet!
And we love technology!
We love the arts… and nonprofits… and sharing the knowledge we have jam packed in our brains… oh and social media… and books too!
Here at Schipul, we just have great big hearts and we love it when we get to help artists, nonprofits, associations, and clients and grandmothers (can’t forget those) succeed. We like to wield the power of a great big group of passionate Schipulite personal brands to help all these folks achieve goals, overcome challenges and do extraordinary things online. We consider it a privilege to help the rather broad and diverse group of people we call our community… it’s just one the perks of working at Schipul.
So, if you are looking for something to do around town, a good conference to attend, a great group to support, an informative training to take part in, a good book to read and whole lot more… your in the right place.

Who Are We Givin' a Great Big Web Marketing Hug To Right Now?
Bayou City Arts Festival Website
The Bayou City Art Festival faced a challenge with their web site. How do you promote the current festival (Memorial Park) when there are artists registering for the other festival (Downtown)? They also needed a way to import artist information and photos from their Zapp database into Tendenci.
Execution
- Innovative use of Tendenci's Stories Module, adding a dynamic "background" for the front page of the site.
- Seasonal design allowing Bayou City Art Festival to promote the Memorial Park or Downtown festivals without making major changes to the overall site.
- Information imported from Zapp into the Tendenci Business Directories module allowings users to browse through artists and see their work before attending the festival.
