HOUSTON, April 14, 2010 – Schipul – The Web Marketing Company (www.schipul.com), a Houston-based Web marketing and Web design company, has announced the appointment of Michael Coppens to the business development team. Coppens is responsible for strengthening relationships with current clients and forging new client relationships.

Schipul also announced the expansion of its West Houston headquarters in Kirkwood Atrium 3 located at 11757 Katy Freeway. Schipul now occupies approximately 9,000 square feet on the building's ninth floor. The added space is needed to accommodate Schipul’s continued growth after 2009’s revenue, client base and product offering increase.

Prior to joining Schipul, Coppens was group sales manager with the Society for the Performing Arts and this arts background will be a valuable asset. Schipul’s clients include the Houston Theater District, Discovery Green, The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, Evergreen Exhibits and theFund, which supports the San Antonio arts community.

Coppens also held prior positions with Duke Energy and Graphics Marketing and Communications. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University.
