How do I preview my Facebook profile from a friend's point of view?
Facebook gives you the ability to view your profile from the perspective of your friend. This is important because in Facebook you can allow or deny access to your friends, or specifically a single friend. This means some friends will see your profile differently depending on what permission they have. If you are interested in what your friend sees then you can choose the "preview my profile" option under the account settings. To do this:
1) Click on "Account" on the top right of your profile.
2) From the drop-down click "Privacy Settings".
3) Click "View settings".
4) Under Basic Directory Information click "Preview My Profile"
5) Now you can type in a friends name and Facebook will show you what your friend sees when they visit your profile.
